How we work

Raising capital, step by step.

A plain guide to how we take a capital raise from first conversation to close, and what we will ask of you along the way.

The process

Eight stages. People decide at every one.

Prepared clients close faster. This guide shows what good preparation looks like.

Or speak to a person

  1. Stage 1

    A confidential conversation

We listen first. What are you raising for, how much, and by when? We tell you plainly whether we can help.

    • No obligation and no fees discussed by chat or voice
    • Speak to a person, or start with Aurelia, our AI concierge
  2. Stage 2

    Mutual NDNC

A mutual non-disclosure and non-circumvention agreement protects both sides before anything confidential is shared. You sign it electronically; we counter-sign.

    • Signed in minutes from your secure account
    • Nothing confidential is exchanged before it is executed
  3. Stage 3

    Intake and KYC

A guided intake covers the project, the capital structure and the people behind it. Every principal completes a short KYC profile.

    • Company information (CIS) for each entity
    • KYC for each director and major shareholder
    • Every answer read back to you for confirmation
  4. Stage 4

    Documents

You upload supporting documents to a checklist built from your answers. Every file is type-checked and scanned.

What you will needTypically: colour passport copies and ID for each principal, proof of address, incorporation documents and registers, three years of audited accounts, recent tax returns, and an independent feasibility study for projects.
  5. Stage 5

    Review by our team

A person on our team reviews every case against clear criteria. Nothing is decided automatically, and every outcome has a named decision-maker.

    • Lenders usually expect sponsors to hold a meaningful share of project cost in liquid funds
    • Projects need to be viable to an international standard
  6. Stage 6

    Structuring and materials

We shape the transaction and prepare the teaser, information memorandum and model that capital providers expect.

  7. Stage 7

    Deal Room and introductions

Qualified lenders and investors review your file in a secure data room: view-only, watermarked, with a full audit trail and a Q&A channel.

    • Access is NDA-gated and can expire
    • You see who has accessed what
  8. Stage 8

    Terms, diligence and close

We help you compare term sheets, manage due diligence and negotiate to completion, alongside your lawyers and accountants.

Questions

Asked often.

What does it cost?

Fees depend on the mandate and are agreed only in a signed engagement letter with your deal lead. Our website, Aurelia and our team will never ask you for payment by chat, voice or email.

Who decides whether you take my case?

A person on our team. Aurelia helps you complete your file, but she never decides, advises or promises an outcome.

What is an NDNC?

A mutual non-disclosure and non-circumvention agreement. It keeps your information confidential and stops any party going around the other to do the deal.

How is my data protected?

Your account uses multi-factor authentication, documents are encrypted and scanned, and the Deal Room is view-only and audited. We are also working towards client-held encryption keys, so that you control access to your own data.
